Sardar Patel Convent Public High School, Kheowali Dhab successfully conducted an engaging Artificial Intelligence (AI) Workshop for students. During the session, students explored the fascinating world of AI, Computer Vision, and Face Detection using block-based coding platforms. They learned how AI systems can identify faces, recognize facial expressions, and interact with users through a live camera feed. Face detection and expression recognition are common introductory AI activities used to teach computer vision concepts to students.
Students actively participated in hands-on activities where they created programs that detected faces, tracked expressions, and responded to different emotions in real time. The workshop helped students understand how AI is used in modern technologies such as smart devices, security systems, attendance systems, and interactive applications. Similar educational AI workshops often introduce students to face recognition, computer vision, and practical AI applications through project-based learning.
The activity encouraged creativity, logical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation while giving students practical exposure to future technologies. The workshop was conducted under the school's STEM education initiative to inspire young learners to become future-ready innovators and technology creators.
